Diploma student Catherine Gordon from Colac in Victoria shares her experience of learning Bowen therapy from the Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy (10533NAT) through to Module 12 at the end of the Diploma of Specialised Bowen Therapy (10534NAT), delivered by Bowen Training Australia (TOid41134). We also get to hear from Catherine as she explained the information she uncovered during her research unit of her study. Catherine looked at the effect regular and timed Bowen therapy sessions could have on people undergoing chemo therapy and whether Bowen could assist them with their symptoms and side effects of the drugs they were administered as part of this treatment. In particular Catherine looks at the drug Zometa and its relation to the fluid imbalance it can cause in the body and this relationship to creatinine clearance. Sounds heavy I know, but it is not.
Catherine is an amazing woman, carer and Bowen therapist, I know you will enjoy listening to her.
